Brought to you by The Fundraising Advisory Group, the annual Bridges Garden Party is one of our signature fundraising events that raises vital funds to support ex-offenders in breaking the cycle of crime and addiction.

The Garden Party is an exciting event not to be missed. Each year we are joined by our incredibly generous supporters and graduates from The Bridges for an evening of fundraising, celebration and entertainment.

Due to the impact of COVID-19 on meeting in person, this year’s event will kindly be hosted virtually by Linda and David Kilburn from their beautiful garden in Hotham on Thursday 11 June 2020, 6:45pm.

We would be delighted if you could join us via electronic link for what is sure to be an enjoyable evening and hope you can make a donation towards the critical activities taking place at The Bridges.

On the night, you can look forward to:

  • Virtual tours of The Forge and other Hotham gardens.
  • Hearing from a Graduate of The Bridges who will share how the centre helped transform their life.
  • An update on The Bridges and how COVID-19 is impacting those in recovery.

To secure your place, please register here by Tuesday 9th June. Please note you will need to register your attendance in order receive the event log-in details.

For more information, please contact Fadzai Dzimwasha at [email protected] or call 020 3981 5532.

About The Bridges:

The Bridges (run by The Forward Trust) is the only rehabilitation centre in the UK that offers specialised treatment to ex-offenders to help overcome their addiction to drugs and/or alcohol.

As a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic - and as is the case for many vulnerable people in our communities - the current lockdown has been extremely challenging for The Bridges residents. Many of us will have friends and family to call on for support in these times, but it unfortunately is not the case for some of our service users whose relationships have broken down. Additionally, many are considered at high risk due to health issues that developed as a result of their addiction - which means they are required to self-isolate. During confinement they are confronted with loneliness and the increased anxiety surrounding the pandemic, all of which may impact their mental health.

Your donation today in support of The Bridges Garden Party will enable us to continue offering vital support to ex-offenders in recovery during and after the current pandemic.
